David Hulme
President/Executive Producer
David Hulme is the president of Vision Media Productions, based in Pasadena, California.
He holds a doctorate from the University of Southern California in International Affairs,
with an emphasis on the Middle East. Prior to founding Vision Media Productions, Hulme was
a producer, writer and on-camera anchor for The World Tomorrow, a weekly 30-minute television
program that was syndicated on over 300 stations worldwide. Hulme also was Director of Performing
Arts at the prestigious Ambassador Auditorium in Pasadena, California, from 1986 until 1994.
Duane Abler
Executive Producer/Director
Duane Abler is a twenty-three year veteran of the television industry. He most recently
produced, directed and edited “Cheating God Out of Christianity”, a
one hour documentary which aired on Discovery and CNBC Europe. Prior to that, he produced
fifty-eight 30 minute episodes of The World Tomorrow, a weekly television magazine that
focused on social, ethical and moral issues. Abler has worked extensively in Israel, Jordan,
Egypt, Turkey and Greece, producing award winning documentaries including Paul at Ephesus,
Mideast- Search for Peace, Hidden Treasures, and The Seven Churches of Revelation. In 1991
he traveled to Cairo to produce Water, the Gift of Life, a documentary on global water shortages.
He also produced a musical documentary in cooperation with the government of China titled,
Little Ambassadors of Shanghai. In addition to documentary work, he has produced programs
with the late Mel Torme, Joe Henderson, Earl Klugh, and other Jazz artists.
Edwin Stepp
Director of Development/Marketing Director
Edwin Stepp is an eighteen-year veteran of marketing, sales and public relations. In 2001
he helped form Vision Media Productions In addition to managing the marketing and PR functions,
Stepp currently heads up new development and assists in writing, editing and researching
projects for Vision Media Productions. Edwin’s career began in the publishing industry
where he was marketing and circulation manager for a small family of magazines based in
Los Angeles. His marketing experience continued as a consultant for The Nolan Network which
specialized in providing marketing and merchandising expertise to vendors in the grocery
industry. From there he went on to become a sales and marketing manager for Ocean Spray
Cranberries, the U.S. based fruit and juice company and after that a sales and marketing
manager for Recourse Communications, an executive search firm and publisher of a family
of employment related newspapers and magazines. He began in the TV industry as a distribution
and marketing director for The World Tomorrow, a weekly syndicated 30-minute television
program that focused on social, religious and ethical issues. During his tenure the program
became the most watched program of its kind in the U.S. It was syndicated on over 300 stations
worldwide during the 1990’s and grew to an audience of over 2 million viewers every
week.
